The Lord Aberdeen Hotel and the Vance Creek Hotel are located in Silver Star Village. The hotel's self-contained suites accommodate 3-5 people comfortably with a combination of bunk beds and queen/king size beds. For this trip, all registrants will pay a flat rate, yet there will be a two-tier pricing. Skiers who are willing to sleep in a single top-bunk or a roll-out bed in the living room (and receive this top-bunk or living room allocation) will receive a refund of $25.00. All units have a kitchen, complete with stove, fridge, and dishwasher. There is a small grocery and liquor store in the village along with coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.
The joint trail networks of Sovereign Lake Nordic Center and Silver Star Mountain Resort offer over 105 kilometers of expertly groomed trails (suitable for both classic and skate skiing). Those who wish to ski at Sovereign Lake Nordic Center will be shuttled by our bus. Skiers can also purchase a dual area cross-country pass that provides one ride to the top of the Silver Star downhill area. From there you can decide to explore the Silver Star trails or cruise down Lars Taylor way to the Sovereign Lake trails. Downhill skiers can enjoy the 3269 acres of skiable terrain at the top class Silver Star resort, widely known for its premium snow conditions. Snowshoers can also enjoy the many scenic trails at Silverstar.
