Mission Statement
The Vancouver Skiers Cross Country & Touring Club is a non-profit society. The Objectives of the Society are:
- to help its members engage and enjoy, as safely as possible, cross-country skiing and related activities;
- to promote the development of facilities for cross-country skiing;
- to encourage the growth of cross-country skiing as a sport; and
- to provide assistance and encouragement for those of its members who wish to participate in various cross-country ski events.
The Vancouver Skiers organize bus trips to various cross-country locations, mostly within British Columbia.
Back county ski trips are also arranged which are usually day trips with car pool transportation, but may include longer trips to other parts of BC or Washington State.
We offer monthly meetings, featuring guest speakers, videos, slides and demonstrations.
